Umowa o współpracy akademickiej z firmą memoQ Translation Technologies Ltd.
W dniu 31 stycznia br. Dziekan Wydziału Lingwistyki Stosowanej UW podpisała umowę o współpracy akademickiej z firmą memoQ Translation Technologies Ltd., producenta oprogramowania specjalistycznego wspomagającego proces tłumaczenia (oprogramowanie typu
CAT). Zgodnie z treścią umowy, WLS otrzymał nieodpłatnie dla celów szkoleniowych licencję na korzystanie z najnowszej wersji oprogramowania memoQ translator pro 10, które zostanie zainstalowane na komputerach we wszystkich laboratoriach komputerowych w siedzibie Wydziału.
W najbliższej przyszłości, umowa również umożliwi Wydziałowi poszerzenie oferty szkoleniowej dla
studentów i pracowników WLS o najnowocześniej rozwiązania typu memoQ TMS oraz memoQ
server.
Academic licencing agreement with memoQ Translation Technologies Ltd.
On 31 January 2023, the Dean of the UW’s Faculty of Applied Linguistics signed the academic licencing agreement with memoQ Translation Technologies Ltd., a manufacturer of specialised software to support the translation process (CAT software). According to the agreement, WLS received an academic licence for training purposes to use the latest version of the memoQ translator pro 10 software; the software will be installed on computers in all computer laboratories at the Faculty’s building.
In the near future, the agreement will also enable the Faculty to expand its training offer for the WLS students and academic staff in the application of state-of-the-art solutions such as memoQ TMS and memoQ server.
